Fillings

Do not bite on your new filling for two hours and until your numbness is gone. If you are supervising children who had fillings done, make sure they don’t bite on their numb lips or tongue because it can cause serious injury to their soft tissue. You may experience some soreness on your gum immediately following the procedure and cold and heat sensitivity for a few weeks. Call our office if you experience strong pain or unusual “high bite, or if you have any questions.
